Recently I met a young lady, Sally, that after finishing her studies in London, was going back to her home country.
She shared with me that one of the things she was going to miss from this city, was the unique sense of freedom that she has had the chance to experience.
Freedom. We can look at this concept from many different angles.
How does freedom look like to you? Does it look like a choice or more like a steeplechase?
For a minute, let us focus on freedom like the state of the soul, where we can channel the best of ourselves without any interference.
Allow me to ask some questions:
What needs to happen for you to feel free?
What are the things that need to be released or changed, for you to feel freer?
The most obvious and at the same time, the most overseen, is our belief system and our social conditioning.
What degree of freedom were you taught to think that you deserve?
What degree of freedom does your body feel that you deserve?
Are your thoughts, your feelings and your body on the same page?
Having lived for three years away from her usual environment, Sally had an unexpected glimpse of a more profound freedom.
A freedom that comes from listening to our intuition and our heart.
