Energy and Holiday Season

"Energy can neither be created or destroyed, only transformed"

The proximity of the Holiday season brings changes in our day to day routine every year.

Some people choose to catch up with friends, attend social events, and finally spend time with their extended family.

Some people might be grieving the loss of a loved one, whose absence feels even greater at this time of the year.

Some people might be separated from the ones that held their heart in a very special way, due to war or natural disasters.

Thinking of you all.

Regardless of the place in the world we find ourselves, our emotions and our body are sustained by energy. And energy requires movement.

If you feel drifting into a dark space, there are things you can do.

Exercise: from strength training to yoga & walking, moving your body will help regulate your levels of anxiety and boost your brain with endorphins.

Feed from nature: spending time in nature will replenish your energy levels effortlessly.

Spend time with people you really love (if you can):  this will boost your levels of oxytocin and make all of you feel better.

Spend time with yourself in whichever way works for you: meditate, listen to your body, pay attention to your intuition, what do you need today?

Express Gratitude: whenever there is gratitude, there is no room for anything else.

And as you love and guide yourself through this emotional time, you are giving permission to every one around you to do the same.

I wish you a peaceful time this holiday season, to you and your inner child.
